News: PBX goes wireless
IN ORDER to improve the productivity of its outside sales employees, the electronics corporation Molex has installed a solution for integrating mobile phones into the PBX.
The solution, Avaya Mobility Manager (an OEM product from Speech Design), provides for better reachability of its mobile employees and lowers the communications costs. At the same time, a comprehensive one-number concept was implemented.
The electronics corporation Molex has about 150 mobile field employees. Due to intensive customer relationships, the supplier places a high value on the reachability of its outside sales employees.
