News: World summit on innovation and entrepreneurship

To dispute the facts and figures. To challenge the policies of ‘business as usual’. And weave your brilliance together with the most remarkable people representing 70 nations.”
Those were the dynamic words of Sam Hamdan, chairman and chief strategist, prior to the 2008 World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreurship (WSIE) in
“You are the change,” Hamdan told the delegates.
The summit provided a line-up of leaders and personalities, including designers, policymakers, technologists, communicators, spiritual gurus, economists, storytellers, humanitarians, chief executives and musicians from across the globe.
The WSIE was supported by the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), multiple agencies of the United Nations, the African Union and leading international business councils and multinational corporations.
